Born from the partnership as Official Timekeeper of the Alpine Elf Cup Series championship, this chronograph embodies the spirit of vintage motor racing in a contemporary guise.
The fully redesigned 39mm 316L steel case features a thinner and more refined profile thanks to the removal of the external tachymeter bezel, which is now elegantly integrated into an internal chapter ring. This solution not only reduces the total thickness to 10.20mm, but also enhances the presence of the dial, creating an effect of greater depth and readability.
The bi-compax dial, inspired by vintage racing car dashboards, stands out for the contrast between the panda/reverse panda counters and the main color, while the date window at 6 o'clock perfectly balances the Alpine Elf Cup Series logo. The central seconds hand, with its characteristic Alpine blue tip, precisely indicates the tachymeter scale on the internal chapter ring.
The heart of this timepiece is the Seiko VK64 mechanical-quartz hybrid caliber, which combines the precision of quartz for basic functions with a mechanical module for the chronograph, ensuring a smooth movement of the chronograph seconds hand. The applied indices and polished steel hands are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 for perfect nighttime readability.
The leather Rally strap, specially designed for this edition, is inspired by vintage racing gloves with its distinctive perforated design. The brushed finish, tapered profile, and folding clasp with security system ensure comfort and style. Alternatively, a refined perforated leather Rally strap, crafted by a French manufacturing excellence, is available.
The case back, proudly decorated with the Alpine logo stamped using a high-pressure hydraulic press, features a sophisticated combination of polished and brushed surfaces. Water resistance up to 10 ATM/100m and double-domed K1 mineral glass complete the technical specifications of this chronograph, which celebrates French motorsport heritage.
