Venini Fazzoletto small sandblasted transparent Magenta Murano glass vase 700.04, designed by Fulvio Bianconi, Paolo Venini. The object, which has become part of the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York, stands out for its sinuous lines that give an impression of movement. The crafting technique is particularly evocative: with his gestures, the master glassmaker shapes the effect of an upturned handkerchief.

The surface of the vases is enriched by a sandblasted finish that seems to be made of silk.
