Murano Glass Home Decor
Since 1859, Salviati has been exploring new languages in Murano glass, interpreting and renewing this ancient art through a synergy between the fluidity of the liquid material and the solidity of the finished glass. Its history of over 160 years makes it a pioneer of contemporary design, capable of anticipating trends and surprising customers through innovation and a constant focus on the desire for uniqueness.
The company's origins date back to the Vicenza lawyer Antonio Salviati, who founded Salviati & C. in 1859 with the intention of combining the production of mosaics and enamels with that of blown glass. His mastery and continuous pursuit of excellence led to the creation of refined lattimo, intricate filigree, and opalescent glass adorned with floral details and aventurine threads. The precision and accuracy, once guaranteed by the company's internal design school, have remained a fundamental legacy that still characterizes production today.
