Salviati Lido Liberty Large Vase Sand SV20112

Salviati Lido Liberty Large Vase Sabbia SV20112 designed by Alberto Lago. In the first decade of the 1900s, Art Nouveau made its way into the heart of the island of Lido. Artists like Luigi Fabris suggested new decorative and architectural elements, characterized by sinuous lines and floral motifs. New Art Nouveau-style villas and hotels became the stars of an entire district on the island. This Lido Liberty collection pays homage to the silhouettes created for windows, vases, and bowls in vibrant colors like those used in the ceramics of the splendid seaside villas; colors made intense thanks to the Muranese technique of cased glass. Handcrafted by the expert artisans of Salviati, located on the island of Murano, it is also ideal as a centerpiece, made entirely by hand with the aid of a wooden mold, in compliance with the Murano tradition. The Incamiciato (cased) technique, carried out with layers of different colored glass, transforms the color of the raw material from transparent to intense, emphasizing the lines. Handmade in Italy, this product not only beautifies spaces but also tells a story of artisanal mastery. Perfect for decorating your home or office, it is also a refined gift for special occasions.
