The Flygraf CPA10 represents the pinnacle of the collaboration between YEMA and the French Air Force special forces, specifically the Commando Parachutiste de l'Air No. 10 (CPA10). This extraordinary timepiece, inspired by Flieger Type A watches, was developed under the guidance of "Stan," a veteran with twenty years of service in the special forces, to ensure that every detail reflected the legacy and values of the elite unit.
The beating heart of the watch is the manufacture CMM.10 caliber, designed and crafted in YEMA's workshops in Morteau, France, with components sourced within a 70 km radius in Swiss territory. The 40mm Grade 2 titanium case, with a brushed finish that enhances its military character, offers a 40% reduction in weight compared to steel and superior resistance to shock and corrosion.
The dial, faithful to the Flieger Type A style, features the CPA10 logo integrated into a refined tone-on-tone design, with raised Arabic numeral hour markers in a steel finish. A distinctive detail is the 10 o'clock marker, treated with white Grade A Super-LumiNova in homage to the CPA 10, while the other indices use blue Grade A Super-LumiNova, creating a functional contrast in the dark.
The sapphire crystal case back reveals the manufacture movement and pays tribute to the 602nd GIA (Airborne Infantry Group) with its insignia printed in white. The oversized crown, engraved with the French Air Force logo, ensures easy adjustment even while wearing gloves, while the 2mm-thick double-domed sapphire crystal offers optimal legibility and a vintage touch.
The canvas strap, produced in Franche-Comté, was specially designed in the colors of the Flygraf CPA10, featuring white stitching and a leather lining for superior comfort. More than one hundred custom pieces were created exclusively for CPA10 members, in addition to the model intended for the public, testifying to the authenticity of this military collaboration.
