In 1978, Tissot created a quartz model characterized by a slim case, narrow indices, and a steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal lug, typical of the era, was perfectly integrated into the flat, tonneau-shaped case. A few years later, Tissot registered the PRX name. "PR" stands for "precise" and "robust." The "X" stands for the Roman numeral ten and for the pressure of 10 bar that the watch is capable of withstanding. In 2022, Tissot presented the new PRX 40 205; the 316L stainless steel case has a diameter of 35 mm. It has a slightly tonneau shape and is adorned with a narrow, round bezel. On the sides, vertically brushed, rounded finishes alternate with polished facets. The flexibility and suppleness of the links make it a true success of ergonomic design and convey extraordinary comfort.
