In 1978, Tissot created a quartz model characterized by a slim case, narrow indices, and a steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal lug, typical of the era, was perfectly integrated into the flat, tonneau-shaped case. A few years later, Tissot registered the PRX name. "PR" stands for "precise" and "robust". The "X" stands for the Roman numeral ten and for the 10-bar pressure that the watch is capable of withstanding. In 2022, Tissot presented the new PRX 40 205; the 316L stainless steel case has a diameter of 35 mm. It has a slightly tonneau shape and is adorned with a narrow, round bezel. On the sides, vertically brushed, rounded finishes alternate with polished facets. The flexibility and suppleness of the links make it a true success of ergonomic design and convey extraordinary comfort.
