The VENINI Balloton vase represents a masterpiece of Murano glassmaking, where technical mastery meets the poetry of color. Its characteristic matelassé texture, achieved through the ancient Balloton technique, creates a fascinating optical illusion: the glass takes on an almost textile-like softness, inviting touch while deceiving the eye with its apparent malleability.
In this new interpretation, the vase is adorned in the extraordinary Lilac Mint nuance, a color that tells the story of the most intimate and secret Venice. Like wisteria blooming in the hidden gardens of the lagoon, the lilac blends delicately with minty shades, creating a chromatic dialogue that evokes spring freshness and the sweetness of memories.
Each vase is a unique piece, blown and crafted entirely by hand by Murano master glassmakers. The Balloton surface is created through a complex process that requires precision and experience: the glass is blown into a mold that imprints the characteristic pattern of small relief diamonds, while a colored thread, applied hot, defines and embellishes the upper rim of the vase.
Perfect as a central decorative element in a contemporary setting or as a refined complement in a classic interior, the Balloton vase lends itself to multiple interpretations. Its versatility makes it ideal both as a precious container for floral compositions, where the particular texture creates a fascinating interplay of light with the water, and as a standalone sculpture capable of capturing and reflecting light in a unique way.
The Lilac Mint nuance, exclusive to VENINI, transforms this vase into a timeless object that encapsulates the essence of the Venetian spring: the delicacy of blooming wisteria merges with the freshness of new greenery, creating a chromatic harmony that speaks of rebirth and that secret beauty that only Venice knows how to preserve.
